One thing I adore in movies is when a prop or set piece is introduced and it's hilariously obvious that it's going to be used as a murder weapon at some point.

My favorite example of this is the fucking giant spiky wall sculpture in The Bird with the Crystal Plumage.

Hmmmm...what a strangely ominous addition to this scene. I wonder if anything will come of it?
